See where you stand with Community Intelligence

Procurement makes more high-stakes decisions than almost any other function. What to pay, who to buy from, which supplier to trust, and what terms to accept. Most of those decisions get made with your own history and a market index to go on.

Your own history is a real reference point. Put the market next to it and you can see something new. Take payment terms. If the market benchmark sits well above terms you agreed years ago, a contract you'd stopped thinking about is worth reopening.

Community Intelligence is a new part of Ignite that looks outward. It's built on anonymized, aggregated data from across Ignite's customer base, and it does two jobs today.

It benchmarks your payment terms, so you can see which ones are worth renegotiating and what the extra days are worth. And it brings you supplier documents that others have already collected, so your team stops chasing certificates and reports that are already sitting on file somewhere in the network.

The market has already done work you can use

Every contract your team has signed carries terms that were competitive when you signed them. Some of them still are. Others have room to extend now, and those extra days are worth real working capital. The one thing you need to tell the difference is a comparison point.

Supplier documents are the second place value is sitting. The certificates and reports your team requests one supplier at a time have often already been collected elsewhere in the network.

Payment terms: find the gap, then track what you change

The Payment Terms Overview has been refreshed, and the market benchmark now sits in it. Your actual terms, your contracted terms, and the benchmark appear side by side, so where you stand is clear from one view.

From there, the payment terms agent finds the gaps for you. In Discover Opportunities, it flags terms sitting below the benchmark and shows the estimated working capital release, plus the days you could extend compared to peers.

It flags 2 kinds of opportunity, and they lead to different work:

Terms below the benchmark. You can see your terms against an aggregated benchmark of companies buying from the same supplier. If that benchmark sits at 45 days and you're at 30, that gap is leverage you aren't using. The action sits with the supplier.
Payments ahead of your contract. You can see your contracted terms against what your team actually pays. If you negotiated 45 days and you're paying at 28, you're not using terms you already have.

Add an opportunity as an initiative and your work is tracked in Savings, so you can follow it from the gap the agent found through to the working capital you delivered. When leadership asks what procurement changed this quarter, it’s easy to show the value you created.

Supplier intelligence cuts the work you shouldn't have to do

Supplier certificates and reports are the paperwork behind onboarding, qualification, and reporting. ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certificates, ESG reports, Transparency Act reports, and more. Someone on your team requests each one, follows it up, files it, and then starts again with the next supplier.

Document sharing does that collection for you, enriching your supplier records with documents the network has already gathered. When a supplier is in the community network, their documents are added straight to that supplier's record. Nobody needs to send a request or wait for a reply.

That changes two things. Onboarding moves faster, because a new supplier's documents are often on file before anyone asks for them. And your supplier records are enriched rather than assembled by hand, which is what reporting and qualification both depend on.

What's coming next.

Sanctions screening arrives in November. It enriches your suppliers with sanctions and watchlist data, joining the supplier risk you already track in Ignite. Any potential matches show up where you manage suppliers. You run it when you need it, and your team reviews whatever comes back.

The rest of this release

Community Intelligence answers how you compare to the market. The other 3 launches answer the other half of that question: whether you're delivering what you set out to deliver, and how quickly you can get to your own data to find out.

Strategy and Targets (beta)

Set procurement targets at company level, then break them down by category, so every target ties back to a company goal. The work gets tied to those targets, and the result comes out in a format finance and executives trust.

What this means: when the target, the work, and the result are connected, leadership can verify your impact. That's how procurement teams earn budget and mandate.

Ignite Apps, new in Ask Ignite

Ask Ignite launched in April 2026 and answers questions about your data in plain language. Apps are what it does next. An Ignite App is an interactive tool built for one specific job, like a forecast simulator or a buyer portal.

You describe the tool you need in Ask Ignite, and the agent builds it for you on top of your data. A dashboard gives you a fixed view, while an App is one you reuse.

What this means: custom tools used to mean waiting on an analyst. Now you can describe what you need and have it built in minutes, on the same data foundation and semantic layer Ask Ignite already runs on.

Ignite MCP

Ignite MCP connects Ignite to the AI assistant your team already uses, including Claude, Copilot, and ChatGPT. Everyone logs in with their normal Ignite login, and the assistant can then work with your spend, supplier, and contract data alongside the email, calendar, and files it already has. Heading into a negotiation, it can read the contract, pull the key terms and renewal date, and draft the supplier email.

MCP is read-only to start, so it can look at your Ignite data and can't change anything in it. If your organization has already approved an assistant, MCP works inside that decision. This is a first step, and we're shaping what comes next with customers.

What this means: your procurement data is there while you work, so preparing a negotiation or writing to a supplier doesn't start with going to find the numbers.
